The pros:  In each package of Trader Joe's Mojito Salmon you get large pieces of fish (you get 2 in a package), spicy and tasty topping* *(cilantro haters do not apply. If you despise cilantro, please steer clear. You will not like this)

The cons:  Took longer than 40 minutes from frozen. You'll need to like a more poached flavor/visual appearance to enjoy this. Not gluten free. Which is a shame as there is really no need for the wheat ingredients here.

The verdict:  I'd buy this again. For the price of $7.99, you'll be paying that for fresh without the awesome mojito sauce. The mojito sauce should be sold as a condiment in the Trader Joe's aisle. Keep a lemon handy.

Here is the visual rundown of what you can expect if you purchase this product. My final thoughts are below the pictures.

When it took it out of the toaster oven I was not impressed mostly because of its poached appearance. I was wrong. The taste of Trader Joe's Salmon Mojito was good although not as good as fresh salmon, but if you are smart and defrost this the night before it would make for a quick dinner. Would be lovely with a side salad. The mojito sauce made it though. It was fresh and spicy and reminded me of a chimichurri sauce. I still required the use of a lemon to bring the acid level to where I personally like it. But that's not something you want them doing for you at the factory before putting it on the self. Worth a look.
