The pros:  Quite possibly the best most enjoyable white chocolate I've ever had. I hate white chocolate but Trader Joe's Strawberry Champagne Truffles tasted smooth and creamy.

The cons:  If you aren't a white chocolate fan, this might convert you to think otherwise. If you have a nut allergy of any sort, avoid this product

The verdict:  For $4.49 you get about 15 truffles. On the outside is one of the most flavorful and creamy white chocolates I've ever had. The middle is where you'll get a very subtle strawberry flavor and an even more subtle color. As for the champagne flavor you'll have to look for it too. It was so subtle that I felt like I could have missed it as well.

Unlike Trader Joe's Brandy Beans and Trader Joe's Chocolate Liqueur Cherries where the alcohol was pronounced, this was non existent. This has a lot similarities to a Lindt truffle. While the outer chocolate shell was much thicker, it had the same melt in your mouth quality. I'll admit, I don't like white chocolate much. But I liked these. I'd definitely buy these again. Unfortunately, they are seasonal so you won't see much of these until the next holiday season.

Would I buy this again? I wish I could buy Trader Joe's Strawberry Champagne Truffles again. Sadly, this is a seasonal item. I'm sure if I do see them again it will be my last until next year. Something to keep a look out for next year. Totally unexpected and wonderful tasting.

I think it might be seasonal so it may be hard to find. I didn't see it the last time I was there.

You were right - they didn't have them on my recent visits (even though I still saw some Christmas selections)...maybe next year 🙂

I picked some up for the first time yesterday. My store still had maybe 20-30 boxes on a shelf. Must have not been very popular to still be lingering around in February!
