An unopened box of Trader Joe's 100% Organic Argan Oil

Argan oil has earned its place in the skincare and haircare world as a go-to for hydration, shine, and all-around nourishment, but it usually comes at a premium. That's where Trader Joe's 100% Organic Argan Oil comes in. Priced at $6.99, this little bottle promises the same multi-tasking magic at a fraction of the cost of its name-brand counterparts.

Review

Let's start with what's inside: just one ingredient, organic argan oil. That's it. No fillers, no added fragrance, no questionable extras. And that's exactly what I want in a product like this.

The packaging is a small amber glass bottle with a pump dispenser, which is surprisingly convenient. It dispenses just the right amount without waste, and the dark glass helps protect the oil from light degradation-especially important if you're keeping it in your bathroom.

I've used this oil on my face, hair, cuticles, and even dry patches on my elbows. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave a greasy finish if you use it sparingly. On my face, it gives a dewy look without clogging pores. For hair, I've used it both as a pre-shampoo treatment and a mid-length finisher to tame frizz and add shine.

What I love most is how versatile and clean it is. You're getting the same type of product you'd pay three or four times more for at a beauty retailer-but with the classic Trader Joe's value spin.

It's not scented, which makes it great for those with sensitive skin or noses. And while it's not packaged like a luxury item, it works like one. A few drops go a long way, so even though the bottle is small, it lasts.

Frequently asked questions

The following are commonly asked questions about this product

Is Trader Joe's Argan Oil any good?

Yes, it is. I found it to be pretty comparable to a higher-priced brand.

Where can I buy this?

This is available at Trader Joe's year round. This is available at Trader Joe's but can also be found through third-party sellers on Amazon.

How long does one bottle last?

A little goes a long way. With regular use, one bottle can last several months.

Does it smell like anything?

It has a faint, nutty scent typical of pure argan oil, but it's very mild and fades quickly.

For $7 that is a steal especially it's organic and 100% pure. Great gift idea too.

Hey Alek! Yes $7 is a great price for this especially compared to how much it goes for elsewhere. No fancy packaging, but at the end of the day that all goes in the garbage. Thanks as always for stopping by!

I love TJ’s argan oil. I’ve been using it every night without any additional moisturizer and it’s gives me the hydration that I need. I’m 63 years old and my skin feels great after using this. I see that one of the cons is the package because of “no frills”. Seriously? I’m not buying it for the package. That goes in the garbage as soon as I take the bottle out. It’s 100% pure, cold pressed and comes from Morracco. Those are the 3 things to look for when purchase argan oil.

So glad to hear that this product holds up to the more pricier versions out there. I have gotten samples of Josie Maran's and liked it but it certainly not worth the price tag of a full-size item. I will definitely have to put this on my next Trader Joe's shopping list.
