If you are thinking about doing some holiday shopping at Trader Joe's, then perhaps skip the sweets and start looking in the health and beauty aisle. This year there seems to be no shortage of new and fun items. This bath fizzers set is one of the new items I was excited to get into.

Testing this
In real life, I'm a girly girl. My husband doesn't quite know the extent of my Sephora shopping. My makeup collection is kept in various gallon-sized plastic bags based on what the product is.
So this year, I'm going to get to the gifts that are meant to be enjoyed. That way if you'll know you need to pick up an extra one. For giving. Or yourself. No judgment.
So needless to say, my bathroom has a record amount of product in it. Yes, I also have this year's sugar scrub set, body butter trio, macaron soap, face mask trio, lip therapy duo, and moisturizing hand creams.
So, this week it's been nothing but straight-up self-care. For me, that means a bath.
Now, in a full tub, these bath bombs fizz up like a giant Alka-Seltzer. Kinda fun to watch.
Each individual bath bomb has its own fragrance. I've gotten into the rose petal and floral fantasy. The rose seemed more assertive in fragrance than the floral fantasy.
Both were pleasant but not overwhelming. Those who have a sensitivity to smells might not agree. But the fragrance did seem to linger on my skin after bath time was over.
As far as taking an aromatherapy bath, it was nice and something to look forward to. These seemed mildly moisturizing as they do contain oils which this time of year is always appreciated.
Unlike some bath bombs, clean-up is straightforward. There are no dyes or glitter in these.
And when you compare them to a company like Lush, a similar-sized bath bomb will set you back $5.95 (more for the larger ones). And yes, I said one. Single. Bath Bomb is almost $6. For $6.99 you are getting four bombs and you won't have to worry about colors or glitter in your tub when you are done.
Overall
Would I like this as a gift? Yes! I'm totally gifting myself another box or two of these. Would it be a good gift for someone? Yes. The fragrances are more on the girly side so just be aware. But anyone who enjoys a good soak in the tub would probably like this. And yes, this makes my gift guide if you are getting items at Trader Joe's.
If you can't find this at your local Trader Joe's, then you might be able to find this through third-party sellers on Amazon.

I live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment with a tiny really old porcelain tub. I wish I could take baths in it since I am also a girly girl and a Sephoraholic
Hey Dag! What a bummer. Well, I'm working on the beauty items. So many to get to. And yes, there are some good ones. More on that this week.
