The pros: Â If you enjoy the topping flavor of an everything bagel you'll like Trader Joe's Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning flavors here.
The cons: Â If you are that person who gets poppy or sesame seeds stuck in your teeth all the time then you might not appreciate this.
The verdict:  For $1.99 you get a 2.3 ounce jar of the same seasonings that usually find themselves on an everything bagel: salt, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, and dried minced garlic. While no one flavor dominates Trader Joe's Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning, the sesame seems the strongest since there are two varieties in this.
This is going to be a pretty flexible seasoning blend. If my Instagram account is any indication, Trader Joe's may want to borrow the tag line from Frank's Red Hot because people are putting this on everything. Eggs, avocado toast, bagels, or if you didn't appreciate Trader Joe’s Soft Handmade Pretzel without the salt then this product could make it an everything Pretzel, and I'm sure there will be more as time goes along.
I'm sure beyond breakfast foods there are a lot of good possibilities here especially for fish, chicken or on top of a stir fry. It's a nice seasoning blend, especially if you are afraid of blending your own combination. It's worth picking up. As a native New Yorker I can tell you that this definitely is an everything bagel without the bagel.

I like to read about stuff that we never see here in the UK, and sometimes that's a relief and at others a shame!

Sometimes it amazes me that some Trader Joe's items can be made in another country and yet you can't get them.

If you enjoy the toppings of an everything bagel, they have bottled it and put it on store shelves for under $2.

I love this stuff SO much!! Mostly i have just been sprinkling it on raw veggies for snacking-cucumbers, sliced bell peppers, etc. Loved it in a savory yogurt bowl with plain greek yogurt, chopped cucumber, olive oil, and the seasoning. Oh, and of course ontop of avocado toast

Those are some great suggestions! Thanks for sharing!
