The pros: Â Trader Joe's Lemongrass Spearmint Flavored Water is a surprisingly tasty combination of flavors. Even if you stay away from the flavor of spearmint, you might actually embrace the flavors here. This product is also organic.
The cons:Â At a cost of less than a dollar per bottle, it might be financially better for you to infuse your own water at home, especially if you find you like your water with just a bit of natural flavoring.

When I was engaged one of the items I registered for was a water infuser. I love Diet Coke. It's my bad habit in life. It's a habit that's hard to break. My hope was always to drink more water. Even with NYC water, I still get bored with drinking water. Infused water is one the best ways to change things up from the plainness of water and add a bit of natural flavoring.
On my most recent trip to Trader Joe's, I noticed two new infused water flavors: Lemongrass Spearmint and Lemon Ginger. For $0.99 each, I felt like I had nothing to lose. Both are combinations that I hadn't previously tried to infuse. I've used cinnamon to flavor water, but not ginger and certainly not lemongrass. Now, to be fair, this is lemongrass oil infusing this product. In either case the first thing you might notice is the smell. It's the smell of spearmint. But not spearmint like the slightly gross tasting Tic Tac spearmint variety. No, this is natural spearmint which tastes pretty good. The spearmint flavor is subtle here, so it won't feel like toothpaste or mouthwash.
In fact, the flavor that hits you is of lemongrass. If you haven't had lemongrass before, it's a little bit of a combination of lemon, ginger, and citrus flavors. There really isn't anything quite like it. In either case, you get a very refreshing flavor that is a welcome change to plain water. As for me, I like the flavor, but I do own a water infuser, so I'd make this at home. As a flavor combination, it's worth a try at least once. The flavor here just works.
We own a water infuser, but this is not a flavor combination that we would have thought to put together. If you find that you enjoy infused water, then a water infuser pitcher might be the way to go. The following links contain affiliate links which means I make a small commission if you chose to buy the item at no additional cost to you. We got ours from Bed, Bath and Beyond, but the same pitcher is also available on Amazon.com. The flavor possibilities are endless when infusing water. Our favorite? Apples with a stick of cinnamon. As long as you keep the fruit submerged it will last a long time. Best of all you can add that to your favorite refillable bottle of water.
As a flavor combination, it's worth a try at least once. The flavors here just work.

Can you deliver a case to me? If so how much? It’s a dollar a bottle at store. But it is 45 min drive each way for me. And I have arthritis and getting it to my front door just saves my joints.
