I want to make sure I'm not bombarding you all with everything pumpkin. Because this year, it seems that the seasonal flavors are being fanned out to include more apple and maple. Both are welcome additions. I welcome them even more if they are done well.
Taste and review
Good news. Count this among them.
I'm a really big fan of Trader Joe's Honey Crisp Apple Cider. It's almost as fresh as a freshly pressed juice.
If you are a Starbucks fan, this is pretty close to the Caramel Apple Spice drink they offer. Except this is refrigerated. And there is no added syrup.
Here you have that super fresh apple taste coming from organic Fuji Apples. Fuji apples are sweet, not tart. All the freshness tastes like it has been contained in this little plastic bottle. And when I say little, I'm talking about 12 ounces. Same size as a soda can. So I'm not sure why they have to remind you to consume this in three days is that this is considered one serving.
For $1.99, it isn't cheap when you think about the fact the Honey Crisp Cider goes for $2.99 for a 64-ounce bottle. Your call how you want to spend your money.
But what makes this product different is that it is a spiced cider. The spice is well-balanced and neither the cinnamon nor the clove was overwhelming. They achieved a good balance on this one.
Overall
If cider makes you happy during this sweater weather (ok, maybe not yet in New York, but hopefully soon), then this is a good option if you enjoy a sweet apple cider with the right amount of spice.
Would I buy this again? Yes, while not cheap, Trader Joe's Organic Cold Pressed Fuji Apple Spiced Cider is delicious.

I love Trader Joe's. But I cannot handle - "Everything Pumpkin". It belongs in desserts, and nothing else.
becomebetty says
At least this one has no pumpkin in it 😁

I wonder is this different than the bottled spiced cider? I do applaud TJ's for being creative in the cold press department.

I loved this! Added my star rating to your new fancy format :))
Actually bought this to flavor my homemade kombucha, which doesn’t take much at all so i ended up drinking most of it as is. I thought it was well balanced with the added spices and tasted a lot like the fresh cider i buy from the farmers market apple vendor
