Trader Joe's Parmesan and Garlic Pita Chips

The pros:  Trader Joe's Parmesan and Garlic Pita Chips are tasty chips perfect for snacking on their own or enjoying with dip. They are also priced well.

The cons:  Nothing really comes to mind.

The verdict:  It's October and all the stores have their holiday stuff out already. Sadly, I noticed it at Costco first back in August. Even worse, there is a graphic that floats around the internet that reminds us that the holiday season will soon be upon us. Now, this isn't a seasonal item in anyway. But it is something really good to keep around as the get together season is upon us (as are various sport seasons as well).

According to Eater, it is highly probable that this is made by the same manufacturer as Stacy's pita chips. In fact, it would seem as it a lot of their testers couldn't discern a taste difference between the two. No matter, this is it's own flavor on it's own. There are several flavors all together. This is one of the more savory flavors. It's a solid compliment to a dip. It's also very good on its own. This is also a sturdy chip. It will hold up well against the thickest of dips in ways perhaps a tortilla chip cannot. For $1.99 this is a reasonably priced bag that is worth keep around for your own snacking or for company that you might see.

I've purchased this several times and while it's not a weekly purchase, this does not last long in my household. It's sturdy, has a nice herby and cheesy flavor, and is a nice pairing with dip, salsa, hummus or just own it's own. Worth a try if you haven't tried these already. Yes, they even sell a sweet cinnamon sugar variety that would pair well with a dessert, but that is a separate review.

Would I buy this again?  Yes, I've purchased Trader Joe's Parmesan and Garlic Pita Chips several times. Even though I haven't posted my thoughts on all the flavors on store shelves, most of these are a pretty solid choice depending on whether you are in the mood for plain, savory, or sweet.
