The pros: Trader Joe's Peach Bellini Jam is a jam full of texture and bright peach flavor that reminds you that summer is here.
The cons: None jump out.
The verdict: Summer is here at Trader Joe's. Last year at Trader Joe's it was Mango Mania there. This year, there is still mango, but also some awesome flavors that also let you have a taste of the season. Peaches remind me most of summer.
Trader Joe's Peach Bellini Jam is one of those tastes I hope they keep all year round. I have an entire shelf on the door of my refrigerator devoted to jams and jellies. All half eaten jars that are a work in progress. I felt the need to add this one when I was handed a sample at my local TJs. My sample was a cracker with Brie and Trader Joe's Peach Bellini Jam. Needless to say, the product went right into my cart.
For $3.99 you are getting twelves and half ounces of jam. This jam has the texture of peaches. This is no smooth jelly at all. The wine adds a nice touch of acidity as do the lemon and citric acid. The jelly is sweet but not tooth achingly sweet. If you like peaches, then this should be your jam. It's well done and well balanced. It's very summery and very good.
Now, this wasn't on my list originally when I went into the store. However, the sample convinced me. I honestly did not need another jam taking up room in my refrigerator. In fact, I was going to pass over this item because I probably don't need another jam sitting there. However, you can do more with this than just cheese and crackers. As for me, I'm going to start looking beyond the PB&J and cheese, cracker, jam routine and start putting my jams to good use. And yes, I'd buy this again.
