The pros:Â Trader Joe's Seltzer Water flavored with Cranberry and Lime Juice is one of three new seltzer waters that are quite distinct from other sparkling beverages around them.
The cons: This is pricier than the bottled sparkling water options at Trader Joe's.
The verdict: Â
If we were to ever meet, you'd notice right away that I gravitate towards bubbly beverages. Diet Coke is my guilty pleasure however terrible it might be for me.
I've given it up from time to time, but came to a single conclusion: I'm not addicted to it. I'm addicted to bubbly drinks.
To be honest, my husband and I drink Trader Joe's Sparkling Water like it is going out of style. Sometimes plain old water just doesn't do it for either one of us.
So while I haven't reviewed the sparkling water, I've drank all the flavors. At 79 cents per bottle, it's pretty darn cheap. Then about a year ago, they came out with cans.
I passed on them because of the cost. We consume way too much bubbly not buy the bottles. And trust me, none of them have ever managed to go flat.
But with this, I knew this product was going to be different. This actually has juice in them.
So I poured it into a glass and the cranberry juice had clearly done its job in coloring the drink. It's not the red background in the pictures that gives this drink the color, it's the fact that there is juice present.
But upon tasting it, the lime seems to be more assertive in terms of flavor. There is a distinct tartness here, but both flavors pair well together.
If you like your bubbly, and are willing to spend $2.99 for four cans, then this is something to consider reaching for as it is naturally flavored, 5 calories and a nice break from the other flavors of seltzer on shelves.

Would I buy this again? While I won't pick these up regularly, Trader Joe's Seltzer Water flavored with Cranberry and Lime Juice was a good flavor pairing and a nice change from the Sparkling drinks already on shelves.

Might be a good mixer for drinks. For those whom wants a bit of actual flavor instead of just plain seltzer.

Is this a good or ok drink for kids too?

Hey M! I'm not sure its a flavor the kids will like or appreciate and there is nothing really nutritious about this. Otherwise, it should be kid friendly if you choose to let them have it. There is no alcohol in this product.

Love this drink. Hits the spot when you're really thirsty and want something bubbley. I wish Trader Joes would have sales once in-awhile... I'd buy a bunch
