The pros:  Trader Joe's Sparkling Apple Cider has all the vitamin C you'll need in a day, they also sell Sparking Blueberry and Sparkling Cranberry in the same display. Resealable bottle. This is actually 100% juice. Good sparkling apple cider.

The cons:  Has a very yellow hue, as if someone dumped a bottle of yellow food coloring into the juice.

The verdict:  For $2.49, other than the color, you'd be hard pressed to figure out if this is Trader Joe's or Martinelli's. In a completely blind taste test, I don't think I could figure out which is which. Both have a distinct champagne like element to them. So it's apple cider that's a touch dry in taste, but one in which kids would also enjoy. A really fun holiday drink for those going down the path of non-alcoholic.

The bottle:

The nutritional information and the ingredients:

In a glass:Trader Joe's Sparkling Apple Cider

Would I buy this again? Yes. I have only recently seen this on shelves, which must mean it's probably a seasonal item that just came out in time for the Christmas/New Year's festivities. It's priced competitively, so if you are looking or have enjoyed Martinelli's then this should make your list. You would be hard pressed to figure out which is which. The color on this might give it away, but the taste is all there. I recommend Trader Joe's Sparkling Apple Cider if you are looking for sparking apple cider or something non alcoholic to toast the New Year with.
