The pros: Â Trader Joe's Unsweetened Golden Oolong Tea is prepackaged tea that has all of the vitamin C you'll need in a day. Best of all, this product has no calories.
The cons: Â Flavor might not be for everyone and no mention of how much caffeine might be in this product.
The verdict: Â For $1.19 you are getting a 16.9 ounce plastic bottle with tea that is true a golden color. The color might remind you more of apple juice than tea. The aroma has a slightly fermented smell to it. It's not quite black or green tea in smell. What you do have here is a very pure tasting tea. There is no sweetness to this product. My husband took a sip of mine and commented that it tastes just like the tea you would be served at a Chinese restaurant. I don't think he's far off either. All there is to this product is vitamin C and oolong tea. This is a matter of convenience than anything else. Unfortunately, Trader Joe's does not presently sell loose or bags of oolong tea. So if you need your fix and Trader Joe's is the only place you'll stop, then this will have to suffice. For me, this was a good tea as I enjoy oolong, but I'll brew it and keep it in a thermos.

Would I buy this again? Â For me, this product was a good oolong tea, but I'd rather brew my own. Nice to try once.
