Well, if having a watermelon mask is too hydrating as we move into the warmer months, then perhaps just a mist will be sufficient. Because if you read my review of the watermelon mask, then you know I compared it to Glow Recipe's watermelon mask. However, this too might have certain similarities to another product.

Testing this

Now, Glow Recipe also has another product that on some levels seems very similar. They also sell a Watermelon Mist. However, I haven't tried that product, so I can't compare them. However, if you have, I'd love to hear from you in the comments.

This product does separate so you'll have to give it a good shake before applying. The packaging is not an expensive feeling but totally plays off of the watermelon theme. But for me, what matters is what is in the package.

Now, this is no ultra-fine mist but is on par with any other spritz bottle. What comes out of the bottle is a mist of light watermelon fragranced hydration. Nothing that will fully hydrate. Just more of a pick-me-up.

And since the weather is getting warmer, if you leave this in your refrigerator you will be rewarded with a cool mist.

But if this is something that you'll leave in your purse or by a sink, then it is perfectly fine at room temperature. And yes, it is mildly moisturizing. But don't think

It is similar to Trader Joe's Rose Water Toner which I really like. However, if I had to pick a quick moisturizer then I actually prefer this product.

Overall

The only bad part is this is listed as being a limited-run product. This is sad because this does belong in the regular rotation of health and beauty products.

For $3.99 this is worth a try, especially in the summer months where you might just want a little pick me up but nothing that feels heavy or greasy.

If you can't find this at your local Trader Joe's, then you can probably find it on Amazon through third-party sellers.

Would I buy this again? Yes, I would buy Trader Joe's Watermelon Facial Mist again.

Did you try it?  Let me know what you think in the comments section!

Hey Alek! Absolutely they are a great pair. Just a shame they weren't on shelves in time for Mother's Day. But I clearly didn't complain too much about these products either. Thanks as always for stopping by!

I absolutely cannot wait to try this spray. I am still in love with the rose toner spray too. I use it all the time.
