If 2020 has taught us anything, then it is toilet paper is clearly as valuable as gold. Given everything going on, it is surprising that things like hand soap and lotion don't seem to have the same value as good old toilet paper. If logic were running things, then there would have been lines miles long just for Bath and Body Works products like hand soap and hand sanitizer.

More about this product

But logic isn't running things this year. And Trader Joe's A Mid Summers Nights Cream Hand and Body Cream isn't technically a new product. This was released several years ago but has not returned to shelves until recently. Unfortunately, since I didn't try it the last time this was on the shelf I can't compare it against the original release. That is what the comment section is for if you did try it.

Like the popular Organic Argan Oil, this is moisturizing and doesn't have much of a fragrance to speak of.

Testing it out

What is nice about this lotion is that is it fragrance-free. And after washing my hands far more than I normally wash them, this is a welcomed step for afterward. It isn't nearly as hydrating as the  Ultra-Moisturizing lotion products that are often found in tubes. But this seemed to get the job done.

However, the highlight for me is the price. This item costs just $3.99 for a 16-ounce bottle which seems like a pretty solid deal. Best of all, a quick glance through the ingredient list makes it pretty clear they were looking to keep this lotion more on the natural side with all the oils present in this.

But, did I find myself using this more than once to keep my hands hydrated? Yes. But I'll blame that on all the handwashing. I hope everyone out there is staying safe and healthy.

Overall

Would I buy this again? Yes, I would buy Trader Joe's A Mid Summers Nights Cream Hand and Body Cream again. It was a really nice addition to my hand washing routine.

Did you try it?  Let me know what you think in the comments section!

Hey Barbara! It seems to absorb like other lotions. As long as you don't use too much it seems to absorb well. Hope all is well with you.

Thanks for the review! I just saw this on Instagram, hadn’t noticed it in stores. I’m going to pick up a bottle. Nice affordable, fragrance-free lotion to keep in the bathroom next to hand soap! I hate when I’m visiting someone and the lotion they have available in the guest bathroom is overly fragranced. I’m all about fragrance free skincare products!
