Review

If you've ever imagined the most blueberry ice cream without it being a puree then look no further. This is a really good mix of berries and ice cream. You have some mashed-up berries along with a strong punch of blueberry flavor which is nicely offset by real custard-based ice cream.

These are pleasantly sweet. Each pop is well portioned. Nothing too big and nothing too small.

The Ice cream is the real stuff- milk and eggs. So if those are allergens for you then there is another dessert you should check out: Trader Joe's Out of this World Ice Pops.

Reminds me of a blueberry smoothie that's been frozen. They are a bit darker in color than the packaging suggests, but believe me, it isn't a bad thing at all.

Good texture and not too heavy on the calories for a dessert. Best of all, not only do these pops look like what is on the box, but they do taste like a dream. Would I love to see other flavors just like this? Absolutely, that would be a dream.

The packaging

Inside this box are four pops. Each pop is individually wrapped in plastic.

Overall

For $3.49 for four bars that aren't too bad of a value.

Would I buy this again? Yes, I would buy Trader Joe's Blueberry Dream Bars again. These are seasonal items, so if you love them now is the time to stock up.

Did you try it?  Let me know what you think in the comments section!

I can see this paired with smoothies topper. Also great for pool parties for those whom wants something fruity and creamy.
