The pros:  Quick, easy, fast rice ready in 3 minutes that has good taste and texture. No pots and pans necessary, just a microwave and a packet from Trader Joe's Brown Rice box.

The cons:  None come to mind.

The verdict:  For $2.99 you get 3 pouches of rice with 2 servings in each packet. There is no mess to speak of and for a freezer item there is no sodium here to speak of either. You may want to opt for some salt here, but that is completely up to you. This is nothing special other than being a great "pantry" item to keep in your freezer that is ready on demand without messing your kitchen. The taste and texture are good. Worth picking up and keeping on hand.

After being cooked for 3 minutes in the microwave you get:Trader Joe's Brown Rice

Be careful to get to close to the opening as the steam will burn you. This is what comes out of the bag:Trader Joe's Brown Rice

What should you serve with this? Pretty much anything you want from veggies to a nicely cooked protein like Trader Joe’s Beef Bool Kogi:Trader Joe's Brown Rice

Would I buy this again? Yes. Minimal mess, ready in 3 minutes, and figure there are about 2 servings per bag. Each serving is pretty generous. The taste and texture were good without being mushy. Just be careful around the bag when it's still steam to avoid getting burned. Otherwise, this is something good to have in your freezer for lazy nights or a quick dinner.

Question: how long does the rice last in a refrigerator after being cook?

My estimate would be about 3 days. I hope that helps!
