The pros: Quick, easy, fast rice ready in 3 minutes that has good taste and texture. No pots and pans necessary, just a microwave and a packet from Trader Joe's Brown Rice box.
The cons: None come to mind.
The verdict: For $2.99 you get 3 pouches of rice with 2 servings in each packet. There is no mess to speak of and for a freezer item there is no sodium here to speak of either. You may want to opt for some salt here, but that is completely up to you. This is nothing special other than being a great "pantry" item to keep in your freezer that is ready on demand without messing your kitchen. The taste and texture are good. Worth picking up and keeping on hand.

Just be careful around the bag when it's still steam to avoid getting burned. Otherwise, this is something good to have in your freezer for lazy nights or a quick dinner.
