The pros:  Trader Joe's Candied Pecans are sweet, salty and are great for snacking or in a salad.

The cons:  I wish they sold a bigger bag.

The verdict:  For $3.99 you are getting a 5 ounce package of Trader Joe's Candied Pecans. Trader Joe's sells both Candied Pecans and Candied Walnuts. However, I found this to be the better product. Why? Well, when I was eating these I realized this bag was cleaned properly and there were no shells.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the walnuts. Despite the small size of the bag, these can easily be chopped and put into a salad. They are perfect for snacking. I've also criticized several Trader Joe's items for not having enough nuts in them in the first place such as Trader Joe's Honey Walnut Shrimp and Trader Joe's Baby Spinach and Cranberry Salad Mix.

This would be a perfect compliment and addition to either product. As far as the taste they were candied without being sickeningly sweet. They were just a touch sweet and salty. There was a fine coating of the candied mixture. Overall, I'd buy these again.

These are available at Trader Joe's or through third party sellers on Amazon.

Would I buy this again?  Yes, I preferred these over Trader Joe's Candied Walnuts.
