The pros:  If you enjoy the taste of candy canes but don't want to deal with the sugar level, Trader Joe's Candy Cane Green Tea is a great tea. For a green tea this brewed darker than most, almost like a black tea. This is a very minty tea.

The cons:  No strings with these tea bags. This is a seasonal item so if you see it, just understand it will not be on the shelves for very long.

The verdict:  For $1.99 for 20 tea bags, I thought this was a very well done peppermint tea. I'm pretty sure after trying it once I'll be picking up before the season is over.

If you enjoy a good peppermint tea, you'll enjoy this. It's inexpensive and will remind you of candy canes despite the ingredient list. It is distinctly different from other mint teas at Trader Joe's. They offer a Moroccan Mint which is more lemongrass than mint. This is a seasonal item, so if you enjoy it, plan accordingly. Highly recommended.

Milk thistle seed. Don't see that much outside of bird food.

I'm sure if I analyzed a lot of ingredients there are a lot of things I wouldn't consume.
