The pros: Â Trader Joe's Organic Roasted Vegetable Pizza is quick, easy and loaded with veggies.
The cons: Meat lovers need not apply.
The verdict: Â I don't know if it's me, but pizza has gotten pricey. That was my go to food item in college. For about $1 per slice it was basically an entire meal. Now, you would be hard pressed to get a pizza under $15, let alone a slice under $2. Now, this is not a large pizza. This will give you about 4 decent sized slices. For $4.49, I think it's worth trying at least once, as long as you don't want any meat on your pizza.
The pizza itself is pretty good. The crust was crisp, but was bland like so many other varieties. I really just needed a pinch of salt in the dough, but the toppings more than made up for it. This is loaded with veggies which unfortunately were unevenly distributed. Without some space between then, it lead to some sogginess. However, each bite was something different as there were onions, zucchini, eggplant, and peppers scattered over the top. They were roasted and out of the oven were tender.
Overall I thought this pizza was good, not great. It's a reliable option if you enjoy your pizza with some veggies. I would consider buying it again

Leftover veggies on sourdough French bread (used as a crust) are my go-to items for a quick pizza. Did it last night. I keep cooked Italian Sausage and pepperoni around to plop on it; then cover with mozzarella. I bake in my Cuisinart Oven Central, but any toaster oven will do an admirable job.
