Well, here is one of the few items at Trader Joe’s that I’ve ever seen as being labeled as “Family Size.” But I am here to assure you that if your family is over the size of 2, you might need more. Sorry, this is no Costco sized item.

There is absolutely nothing like New York pizza. I’m not sure if it is the water or some other magical factor, but nothing comes close. Not even in a frozen pizza. However, there has been a bit of a shuffle in Trader Joe’s frozen pizza aisle where certain items have been discontinued. So, when something gets discontinued something else takes its place and in this case, it is Trader Joe’s Organic Tomato Mozzarella Piccolo Pizza.

Well, well, well. It seems like I’ve seen this packaging before. But Trader Joe’s Butternut Squash Pizza Crust packaging is darn similar to another item. If you pick up Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Crust, then you might accidentally find yourself picking up this product instead. Fortunately, not only is the packaging similar, so are the end products.

The pros: Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Pizza Crust is a good tasting and healthy alternative to regular pizza crust. This product is also gluten free.
The cons: This is more expensive than buying pizza dough or fresh pizza crust or frozen pizza crust from Trader Joe’s. There is only one crust per box. Allergy information says there may be traces of milk which is a bummer for vegans out there.

The pros: Trader Joe’s BBQ Chicken Pizza is loaded with toppings which makes for one filling pizza.
The cons: Smaller than some pizzas in the frozen pizza. Not a traditional pizza which might not sit well with purists. Has cilantro on it, so if you are not a fan of that flavor you might want to avoid this.

The pros: Trader Joe’s Organic Sicilian Style Pizza is quick and ready in under 15 minutes from your oven. The organic olive oil was an added bonus that I was tempted not to use, but only added to the flavor here.
The cons: The pearl mozzarella cheese and the crust seemed under salted.

The pros: Trader Joe’s Pizza Crust are huge pizza crusts that yield 4-6 generous slices each. When brushed with oil and placed in the oven, the crust was crisp. If you are looking for thin crust, this isn’t it, it’s just shy of being Sicilian style thick. Nice flavor of the bread, but the topping is meant to be the highlight.
The cons: None that I can think of.

The pros: Trader Joe’s Organic Frozen Pizza Crusts are quick, easy, fast, and convenient way of making homemade pizza so you don’t have to spend $15 on a pie.
The cons: Very bland tasting crust. It needed more salt, so if its flavor you are looking for please add it. Be sure to have a pizza peel before making pizza. A regular spatula or turner will not pick up a pizza pie. Just saying. Have the right equipment.

The pros: Trader Joe’s Spizzico di Pizza is a quick and easy appetizer or snack especially if members of your household are already familiar with pizza bites. These are similar except they are not bagels, they are somewhere between pita bread and pizza dough.
The cons: It’s a freezer pizza so don’t expect this to blow you away in terms of flavor.

The pros: I was pleasantly surprised that Trader Joe’s Harvest Gorgonzola Tarte was not as terrible as I was anticipating. The combination sounded unappealing, but since I’ve eaten every other tart in the line I had to have this as well. I enjoyed this almost as much as I did Trader Joe’s Tarte d’Alsace with Ham, Onions, & Gruyere. That is still my favorite, but this is a solid runner up worth a look. For $3.49 it’s one of the less expensive tarts.
The cons: You’ll need to like veggies, but all of the veggies tasted sautéed and were tender. The bottom of mine was a bit soggy after cooking.

The pros: Trader Joe’s Tarte d’Alsace with Ham, Onions, and Gruyere will remind you of a croque monsieur with a pie crust instead of toasted bread. If you are saying “what the hell is croque monsieur?” It’s a ham and cheese sandwich. The caramelized onions were a nice touch. It might also remind you of a Hawaiian pizza minus the pineapple.
The cons: I wished there were no calories in this. Sorry, hard to come up with one. I really enjoyed this.
