Last year Trader Joe's came out with a pumpkin face mask. That product was single-use only. And if you've ever bought one of those disposable face masks you know that they never fit quite right. Now they are selling a face mask in a jar for $6.99

Testing this
So maybe you didn't get a chance to try last year's face mask. No worries, but if you have tried the summer's Watermelon Face Mask then this is pretty similar minus fragrance.
Now, let's talk about the fragrance here. This doesn't smell as pumpkin-y ask you might think. In fact, I felt like this smelled like pumpkin with some notes of papaya.
It is a touch orange-hued but don't worry, none of that color transferred onto my skin.
And if you are reading the directions and are concerned, don't worry.
If you are concerned that this is going to mess up your sheets or pillowcase then hear me out. If you apply a thin layer this will dry relatively quickly.
If you apply a thicker layer then give it like 10-15 minutes to absorb and your face will still be relatively moisturized. It will feel a bit tacky but not sticky.
This is really more of a deep moisturizer than a mask. I followed both the overnight directions and the sensitive skin directions.
I used it for about a week.
It was nice. Maybe not a repurchase. Maybe because I have so many moisturizers hanging around my bathroom.
But it was moisturizing. Maybe not something I'd reach for when the humidity is high like it still is here in New York.
Best of all I didn't notice any breakouts from using this several nights in a row. So if that is a concern for you, hopefully, that helps (and hopefully your skin reacts the same way mine did). I also think having to wash your face off either in the morning or after about 10 minutes might have something to do with that as well.
For some reason, I prefer the Watermelon Face Mask over this one. Perhaps it was the fragrance that I liked so much better.
The packaging
This comes in a cute and giftable box. The jar is heavy and glass. It feels more expensive than it actually is. This container has two ounces of product in it which is generous while being priced under $7.
Overall
While this is nice and perhaps even giftable to the person who loves all things pumpkin I think this was a nice one-time purchase.
Would I buy this again? Trader Joe's Pumpkin Overnight Face Mask is a one-and-done for me. I liked it but not enough to buy it again. I'll use it up but won't look for it again if it comes around next season.
