The pros: Trader Joe's Root Vegetable Galette has individual components that are are good. The pie crust was crispy, the filling tasted like stuffing.

The cons:  Visually this looks like stuffing in a pie crust and it tasted that way as well. I'm not sure that either one of those really needs each other. If you want really crispy stuffing put some in some mini cupcake containers and bake them. You'll get a crust without adding a lot of calories.

The verdict: For $4.99 I'd rather buy a box of Stove Top and add some veggies or cubed sweet potatoes to it. It didn't need pie crust at all. This is one of those combinations that just doesn't belong together. So in short, no I probably won't be buying this again.

Here is the visual rundown of what you get when you purchase this item. My final thoughts on this product are below the pictures.

Throw a slice of turkey and a splash of cranberry sauce on this and it becomes Thanksgiving dinner with pie crust. If the individual components were sold separately I might buy them. The stuffing was good. The sweet potatoes were good, but there was something strange about putting them on a pie crust that I wasn't sold on. I won't be throwing Trader Joe's Root Vegetable Galette out, but I won't buy this again either. For $4.99 that will get me a bunch of boxes of stuffing.
