The pros: Trader Joe's Simpler Wines Peach is the best out of the three canned varieties of Simper Wines. Per can these are super inexpensive.

The cons: Not available in all locations. If your taste buds don't like sweet or anything that tastes like a wine cooler, then skip this one.

We are getting towards the end of August which means summer is almost over. And I have to go back to work. ::tiny violins playing for me::

So, one thing I did get to this summer was a location that sold wine. You better believe I stocked up because sitting in New York to New Jersey traffic is no joke.

I picked up all three varieties of Trader Joe's simpler wines: white, rose, and peach.

I've tried all three. This was hands down the best of the bunch.

Now, this isn't going to win any medals at a wine competition. But this sure as heck is cheaper than a pack of wine coolers. For $4.99 (price may vary depending on where you get these) for four cans it's a good deal considering that these four cans add up to almost a bottle of wine. So yes, this is cheaper than most drinkable bottles of wine.

This is nice and fizzy. Perfect for those final BBQs. Or with appetizers, brunch, or a light dinner. Or to just sit in air conditioning during this brutally hot summer. In either case, this is light and drinkable.

But it really does have more in common with a wine cooler than a glass of wine. It's fruit, bubbly, and most importantly portable. No need to bring a wine opener to your next picnic. It's a touch sweet but it tastes like a peach wine.

This had the flavor of peach, but none of the color. But if you are drinking it from a can, what does it matter anyway?

In any case, if you see all three varieties out, this was the one to pick up.

Here is the visual run down of what you get if you buy this product:

Out of the package you get 4 cans that look like this:

And that way you can see the color of this. Oh, and if you are wondering. Yes, that glass is not straight. On purpose. It's a conversation piece in my home. Or at least a sobriety test. You can pick them up on amazon:

Would I buy this again? Of the three Simpler Wines varieties, Trader Joe's Simpler Wines Peach was the most drinkable on its own. Not a fine wine by any stretch of the imagination, but just fine for the price and portable. I liked it. I wish I lived closer to a location that sells this.

How do I describe the peach? If you ever wanted to know what perm activator tastes like, it would be this. I mean to a T. It brought me back to when my grandma took me to her salon as a kid. Every time I sip it I see Grandma Alice under the hair dryer.
