The pros: It's a quesadilla with veggies in it. Trader Joe's Southwest Chicken Quesadillas is $3.69 which isn't a terrible deal as you get 2 quesadilla individually wrapped in each box.
The cons: Texture wise everything blended together. There really weren't distinct things about the filling, but much like a stew all the flavors and textures were just the same.
The verdict: A completely average quesadilla. There is a good amount of filling, but it doesn't stand out from any other brand that I've ever tried before. There are too many other standouts in the freezer section, so I wouldn't run out and buy this again. It didn't taste bad, but if you've had any other freezer quesadilla it tastes exactly the same.

And if you are wondering, it looks exactly the same before and after the microwave. In terms of taste and texture it was all monotonous. It wasn't a "wow this is cheesy" or "wow such wonderful chunks of chicken." It was none of that and that disappointed me. I was looking forward to that experience in a quesadilla, but it was all the same mashed up same tasting filling in the center. What a bummer. And unless I decide I really need a quesadilla, I'll head to my local Mexican establishment for something far more enjoyable.
