The pros:  Trader Joe's Spinach Ricotta Ravioli has a fresh pasta taste, freshly sautéed spinach taste and texture in the filling

The cons:  It's also light on the cheese filling which might not make everyone happy.

The verdict:  For $3.49 this is another solid selection from the refrigerated pasta aisle at Trader Joe's. It's less expensive than most grocery stores for what you are getting here. If you've come to expect the filling to just taste like frozen chopped spinach, then you'll need to adjust your expectation here. The filling is light on the ricotta cheese with a nice portion of sautéed fresh spinach. The taste of sautéed spinach is pretty rare in store bought ravioli. Usually you have to settle for the chopped frozen that was placed into a ricotta mixture. Overall, I'd buy this again. It was tasty and made a nice sized meal for 2 people.

Would I buy this again? For me Trader Joe's Spinach Ricotta Ravioli are a yes. This is not your typical spinach ravioli, it wasn't chopped spinach thrown into some ricotta. It tasted like freshly sautéed ravioli with a small amount of cheese. It was fresh and tasty. Worthy a try one.
