The pros: Trader Joe’s Roasted Teriyaki Seaweed Snack is sweet, salty, and umami. Only 30 calories per package which makes it a sensible snack.
The cons: This flavor only comes in a 6 pack. Seaweed is not a flavor everyone will appreciate.
The verdict: For $3.49 you are getting a 6 pack of Trader Joe’s Seaweed snacks. These aren’t the same size as the $0.99 ones. Each one of these is half the size of the under $1 sizes, so please don’t think you are saving money by buying this big pack.
That being said, if you like the flavor of Nori paper on sushi AND Teriyaki flavor, then this should be a match for your palate. This manages to be sweet, salty and umami all at the same time. You’ll even see the salt and sugar crystals sitting on this seaweed. It’s a tasty treat and I’d buy Trader Joe’s Teriyaki Seaweed Snack again.
However, you could easily get something like this at your local Asian grocery store. All the seaweed snacks are relatively low on calories. Best of all, odds are you local Asian grocery store might be better stocked on this product too.

Would I buy this again? Trader Joe’s Roasted Teriyaki Seaweed Snack is a yes from me. There hasn’t been a flavor of this I haven’t enjoyed, but the flavor of seaweed is not for everyone. There is a real ocean flavor here so be warned if you’ve never tried seaweed or sushi before.
