The pros: Â Trader Joe's Wasabi Seaweed Snack is salty, spicy, slightly nutty snack. If you've had these at your local Asian market, they are basically the same thing, just with a nice wasabi coating that wasn't overpowering and won't clear your sinuses.
The cons: Seaweed taste might not be for everyone.
The verdict: Â For $0.99 this is a large snack that contains a mere 60 calories. If you enjoy the taste of the nori paper in sushi this will likely be right up your alley. The addition of wasabi makes it completely awesome and even more flavorful. As the description says this is good for a snack or over a salad. I couldn't agree more (if you have the taste of the nori paper in sushi, then please avoid this). As much as I enjoyed this, this is going to be a very polarizing item. You'll either love it or you'll hate it.

Would I buy this again? For me this is a yes, if you have kids this might make them have the more intriguing lunch snacks in the cafeteria. If you are craving something, this is a reasonable snack to keep on hand. It forces you to eat it slower than you could ever polish off potato chips. Worth a try at least once. I'll pick up more the next time I'm there. Again, this will be a love it or leave it type food item.
