The pros: Trader Joe's Candy Cane Joe Joe's are much like double stuff Oreos with the familiar filling which includes finely crushed peppermint for an enjoyable crunch.

The cons:  Not quite as chocolatey as Oreos.

The verdict:  For $2.99 these are a refreshing item in both taste and texture. While I was disappointed on the chocolate level, the filling more than made up for the difference. They are not like Peppermint Oreos in the fact that the filling gets its flavor from crushed candy cane.

So it adds both texture and flavor in a way that the oreos can just overwhelm the palate with peppermint. Unfortunately, these are only around for the holiday season. If you realize you adore them, then you'll need to stock up.

Now, these are a cult classic. If you realize you want to try them or you've run out, you can sometimes find them on Amazon.

Would I buy this again? Yes and I wish these were around year round. Sadly, if you love these you'll need to stock up.
