The pros: Â Trader Joe's Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are a decent cookies ready relatively quickly.
The cons: Â The recipe is missing certain things.
The verdict: Â For $3.49 you get 16 cookies in a package. They were ready in under 15 minutes. While convenient, you are sacrificing flavor. I really felt like there were aspects of a cookie that were missing. For starters, the chunkiness was disappointing. I thought in place of chocolate chips there would be nice sized chunks. Nope, mostly shreds of chocolate. They were also relatively flat as a cookie and didn't rise very much in the oven.

Would I buy this again? No. For me, Trader Joe's Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough made decent cookies but nowhere near the level of perfection as Toll House cookies. They baked relatively flat. For "Chunky" it seems more shards and flakes of chocolate which I also found to be disappointing. I was looking forward to entire bites of chocolatey goodness. You are better off making it at home.

Incorrect. Trader Joes Cookies are better than toll house. The silky chocolate chips, the sugary batter. Its perfection in a bag. I will defend these cookies to the death.
