The pros:Â Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Mint Creams taste like a cross between a Junior Mints and a Peppermint Patty. These are smaller than the seasonal holiday ones.
The cons: Â If you are a mint chocolate fan these are addicting and in fact I had to purchase this several times in order to write this review. I hope my sacrifice was worth it.
The verdict: Â For $3.99 you get a small tub of chocolate that will remind you of a hybrid between two other famous mint candies. These are about the size of a Junior Mint. The chocolate is good and the chocolate coating gives this some added texture. The bottom is slightly thicker leading to a much welcomed crunch when biting in to this. The middle is not as gooey as Junior Mint nor is it as firm as a York. The fondant is a half way point which is actually quite tasty.
As for me, I'd buy these again. I'm a huge peppermint chocolate fan and this is no exception. This is a well done candy that is available year round. Personally, I enjoyed the seasonal Dark Chocolate Candy Cane ones, but they aren't available year round. I'd buy this again.

Would I buy this again? Â Yes, while I liked the holiday variation of these much better Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Mint Creams will have to suffice until everything comes up peppermint again at Trader Joe's.
