The pros: If you've ever been to a Greek restaurant or diner in or around NYC, Trader Joe's Dolmas Stuffed Grape Leaves are pretty much the stuffed grape leaves you expect to be served.
The cons: Probably not as good as Greek Grandma would make, other than that none I could figure.
The verdict: For $2.49 these are the stuffed grapes leaves you expect at your local diner, great pantry item and awesome way to add something different to your salad. The grape leaves were tender, the rice filling was flavorful and smooth, almost risotto like in creaminess but without the al dente crispness. So here is what you are getting:

I keep a can or two of these around in the pantry. I love goat cheese with a salad and this tends to be a great accompaniment. As an added bonus these are vegan and easy to open as long as you don't want to open it from the top.

I always have these in my pantry or refrigerator! They're crazy cheap considering how many are in there- i like a squeeze of fresh lemon ontop to perk them up. Nice as part of a snacky plate meal too
