The pros: Trader Joe's Jingle Jangle is a nice sized tin of chocolate candies that is perfect for snacking and gifting at a reasonable price.
The cons: This is a seasonal item.
The verdict: With the holidays upon us, here is a returning seasonal favorite. Now, to be fair I only saw this tin for a brief period of time. There are just certain seasonal item that when you see them, if you don't pick them up you will be out of luck until next year. While I saw this last year, I did not pick it up. When I did find it this year, I reached for it.
What comes out of this nice tin is a mix of mostly dark chocolate, but some milk chocolate covered candy items. There are chocolate covered pretzels, mini peanut butter cups, quartered Joe Joe's covered in chocolate, chocolate covered caramel corn, and red candy coated drops that shine right through the mostly brown contents of this tin.
There was nothing I did not enjoy about this whole container. The pretzels added a saltiness as did the mini peanut butter cups. There wasn't an even balance of milk chocolate to dark chocolate, so milk chocolate fans be aware. There was a lot of the chocolate covered caramel popcorn in my tin. If anything, that was my least favorite of the bunch in this tin.
For $8.99 you are getting a nice tin that some crafty person could easily repurpose (but does add to the price). This would be an easy mix to replicate at home as well. It might be worth trying that, but I'll save that project for next year. It was worth the money for a pound and a half of goodies. I'd consider buying it again next year.

Would I buy this again? By the time my tin of Trader Joe's Jingle Jangle is empty, this will be gone for the season. However, this too makes a great gift idea. I look forward to buying a tin or two next year.
