The pros:  How do you get people to eat their veggies? Make them into fries like Trader Joe's Julienned Root Vegetables. A unique blend of different root vegetables that can be roasted into essentially fries.

The cons:  For some there is going to be way too much pepper on this.

The verdict:  If you love the strong taste of seasoning, you'll love this. For me it was very strong and overpowered the taste of the veggies, but for some of my family members they could have polished off the entire bag. For $3.29 this might go either way. I wouldn't buy it again for myself, but my family members who love the taste of salt absolutely adored the flavor of these. Proceed with caution, if pepper is a welcomed flavor then this is a go. If you have family members who won't ever touch the pepper shaker, then pass on this.

If you love Checkers or Rally's fries, then you'll love Trader Joe's Julienned Root Vegetables. There was as much pepper as they could possibly put on these veggies. They were good fries, but the seasoning was not in any way subtle.

I have a bag of these just hanging out in my freezer still waiting to be tried. Did they get a good crisp on them at all?

If you put them in a single layer you'll get the most crispness out of it
