The pros: Trader Joe's Mini Chicken Tacos are a tasty and quick appetizer that are ready in under 10 minutes.
The cons:  Like Trader Joe’s Mini Beef Tacos, Trader Joe's Mini Chicken Tacos look nothing like the picture. Unless, you have tiny hands, you won't be able to get much in these tiny tacos.
The verdict:  For $4.29 you are getting a tasty box full of mini chicken tacos that look nothing like the box that they come in. These make for great party appetizers or for a light dinner. Out of the box you are getting over a pound of little tacos. Each taco can be consumed in about 2 bites. I'm always disappointed when a product looks so pretty on the box, but looks nothing like what is advertised (see Trader Joe's Shrimp Tacos for another example of a product that looks nothing like the picture).
While you can't get any guacamole in these, you could easily dip them as they get a nice crisp in the oven. The filling in these tasty treats is a chopped chicken with a chile topping. Although chicken can be a bit bland, the chile does add flavor with the most subtle heat. Although the chile taste is present, have some hot sauce ready for those whose taste buds yearn for more heat. In other words, Trader Joe's Mini Chicken Tacos are a blank canvas for other flavors as long as you don't expect that flavor between the shell. Overall, I'd recommend and would buy this product again.

Would I buy this again? Yes, I would buy both Trader Joe's Mini Chicken Tacos and Trader Joe's Mini Beef Tacos again. I have served both varieties at parties and family gatherings. While my husband prefers the beef, both flavors are likely to satisfy.
