Trader Joe's Pizza Bambino Formaggio

The pros: Trader Joe's Pizza Bambino Formaggio is baby pizzas ready in about 10 minutes

The cons:  The taste reminded me of the $1 pizzas the grocery store sells.

The verdict:  For $3.29 you are getting 4 pizzas. They are small in size. They're larger than pizza bagels but smaller than a personal sized pizza. On the taste level, the bread was crispy out of the toaster oven, the cheese tasted like plastic, and the sauce had some good flavor to it.

It tasted like a thick tomato sauce and was soft on the spice. This was not my favorite pizza dish from Trader Joe's. This reminded me of slightly larger Trader Joe's Spizzico di Pizza. However, this was also a split decision in my household. My husband loves pizza bagels. But he also liked these little pizzas as he did the Pepperoni Bambino Pizza.

So if you really love New York style pizza, then consider reaching for the Pepperoni Pizza which will still yield about 4 decent sized slices.

Would I buy this again?  For me Trader Joe's Pizza Bambino Formaggio is a no. There is an extensive selection of frozen pizza and pizza like items. This didn't make me say "wow." It made me say "yup, that's freezer pizza."

My husband loved these because they reminded him of larger pizza bagels. If you are looking for that classic NYC pizza taste, you won't get them in this product. But if you want a pizza that might remind you of the pizza served in public school, then this is it.
