The pros: Trader Joe's Pizza Parlanno is a pretty tasty pizza ready in about 10 minutes. If you your pizza with lots of toppings, this is the best one to reach for in the Trader Joe's refrigerated case.
The cons: Crust could have used a bit more salt.
The verdict: For $4.99 or the price of some very cheap pizza place pizzas you are getting some quality product here. When cooked according to the directions you will get a crisp crust. That crisp crust does need a bit of salt as it tasted a bit plain. But that is the only thing that is plain about this pie.
Overall, this is one flavorful pie. It's almost the equivalent of an everything pizza. It has lots of pepperoni, tender sausage, crisp onions with a slight raw bite, and peppers that tasted roasted but didn't lose their texture at all. So as far as my above salt comment goes, the toppings on this negate the lack of flavor in the crust as there are lots of salty items atop this pizza. The crust was sturdy enough to hold up all these toppings too.
If you like pizza with the works, then this is a good pizza to reach for. If you have someone who enjoys it plain, then also pick up Trader Joe's Pizza 4Formaggi as it was good too.
