The pros:  Trader Joe's Thai Sweet Chili Veggie Burger is an Asian spin on their other veggie burgers. Was tasty out of the frying pan. Heat is subtle but present. Trader Joe's Thai Sweet Chili Burger had enough oil in the burger to cook it without oil in a pan.

The cons:  If you are looking for that fake meat flavor, you are out of luck here.

The verdict:  For $3.69 you get four veggie patties. These veggie burgers aren't just another veggie burger.Trader Joe's Thai Sweet Chili Veggie Burger are complete different from the other veggie burgers in terms of flavor. With some like Trader Joe's Quinoa Cowboy you get more black beans and corn. Here you get distinctly Asian veggies with a subtle heat from the Thai Sweet Chili Sauce mixed in.

These would be great a side or as a burger as they seem relatively filling. The first bite I had tasted of mushrooms, carrots, garlic and scallions. The "meat" holding this together is actually rice. It was flavorful and did not pretend to be fake meat in anyway. If you are willing to try some Asian flavors and enjoy veggie burgers, then this is a solid choice. I would definitely buy these again.
