The pros:  Trader Joe's Frozen Raspberries are reasonably priced, tasty and ready to be transformed into something tasty.

The cons:  Any brand of frozen raspberries is not texturally the same as fresh. Don't expect to just pop them in your mouth. I wish these were individually quick frozen as I had a massive block of raspberries frozen together.

The verdict:  For $2.79 these are a substantial savings over fresh. In exchange you give up the texture so plan accordingly. I've purchased these several times and I'll continue to buy these. I'll review the organic ones from Trader Joe's for a comparison to see if the premium is worth it.

How to use this product according to the package:Trader Joe's Frozen Raspberries

Out of the package you get which probably is less than idea for eating as some of the fruit were disintegrating as they thawed:Trader Joe's Frozen Raspberries

What can you do with these? You have a few options: make a smoothie, jam, jelly, or Homemade Raspberry Pancake, Waffle, and Dessert Syrup

Trader Joes Chocolate Chip Waffles

Would I buy this again? Yes, I just don't agree with some of their uses on the package of Trader Joe's Frozen Raspberries. I would say no for the fruit salad. Otherwise, if you really need the fresh taste and most importantly texture, you'll have to buy fresh. As they were thawing the raspberries were starting to fall apart. Perfect for some uses, not all. This is just one of the minor flaws in any frozen fruit, not Trader Joe's.
