The pros:Â Trader Joe's Tarragon Chicken Salad Wrap is a quick grab and go in the refrigerated section.
The cons:Â As good as Trader Joe's freezer section is, the refrigerated section does not hold up as well, which is both confusing and disappointing. This was not even a really good chicken salad to be honest. I had much higher expectations. The garbage can ended up eating mine.
The verdict:Â Â This is a nope from me. I was hoping for something really amazing for 700 calories. It didn't wow me, it didn't make me say yum. I normally like tarragon and almonds with chicken, but there was something not quite right with the dressing they used essentially ruining some perfectly good chicken.

Trader Joe's Tarragon Chicken Salad Wrap from the refrigerated aisle:
The calorie count (yes, this is pretty staggering, and yes there are better ways of eating 700 calories in a sitting):
The ingredients:
From the inside:
The salad dressing here was all wrong and the celery was a whole lot bigger than it should have been. Completely underwhelming wrap to which I won't be buying again. I took one bit and knew it was destined for the garbage can. I didn't even want to pick it apart or salvage it. It was just a whole lot of wrong.

I couldn't agree more. Everything was wrong with that wrap.

That label discredits all my understanding of what I look for and expect at Trader Joe's! No way should it take up shelf space.... Agreed, their grab N' go "ready meals" need revision. Thanks for the review.

Hey Janet! I think the tarragon chicken salad wrap was up there in terms of my "Trader Nos." It's a shame. I think tarragon can be used so beautifully, but this particular application just did not work. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Well I concur on the sodium content. Far too high.
I have to disagree with everything else... I absolutely loved the chicken terragon wrap and so does everyone in my family... But I must agree that there is not enough chicken in the wrap and what you get and pay for is mostly the whole wheat wrap which is kind of heavy.
In fact I love the chicken tarragon so much that I'm gonna practice making it at home until I get the recipe just perfect.
Overall, I think Trader Joe's Should adjust the chicken to wrap ratio with a lighter more delicate wheat wrap and increase the quantity of the chicken. Still and all I love the flavor, freshness and quality of the chicken.
