The pros: Trader Joe's This Mango Walks Into a Bar has good tropical flavor, reminds me of a Nutrigrain bar, nutritionally it's not a total loss or just empty calories.
The cons:Â Easy to eat a few of Trader Joe's This Mango Walks Into a Bar in a sitting.
The verdict: Â For $1.99 this is another good flavor to reach for in the cereal bar aisle. This is very different from the other flavors they sell as it's the only tropical fruit offering. When Trader Joe's goes into Mango overkill as they tend to do with some flavors, this bar might be a bit much. In the winter time it's a nice reminder that summer will be coming soon. The cereal bar itself tastes identical to all of the other flavors in the line. If you haven't read my other reviews, then let me sum it up quickly. This product reminds me of a Nutrigrain bar. The fillings seem a touch different. While this has a mango filling in it there are other notes of tropical fruit here like pineapple. It's tasty none the less and if you aren't sick of mango or long for summer fruit then this is something good to reach for.

Would I buy this again? Yes. This is the only tropical fruit in the line of Walks Into a Bar cereal bars and it was a welcomed change from the traditional flavors. It is sweeter tasting than some of the others, but none the less pleasant if you like mango.
