The pros:  Trader Joe's This Strawberry Walks Into A Bar is low fat, organic, portable, tasty and contains whole grains.

The cons:  Addicting. So easy to eat more than one of these in a sitting. Individually wrapped package looks a lot like the apple flavor. Other flavors the individually wrapped bars are different colors.

The verdict:  For $1.99 this is another great choice in Trader Joe's line of cereal bars. This product like Trader Joe's This Blueberry Walks Into A Bar tastes just like a Nutrigrain bar. The perk here is the nutrition on this. It isn't all empty calories. The taste is almost cookie like with a sprinkling of grain on the top. The highlight here is the strawberry flavor. It had almost a strawberry jam flavor but in no way made the bar soggy. Even though there are other fruits beyond just strawberry, but what you taste here is predominantly strawberry. It's portable and tasty. It's just hard to eat just one.

I'd buy this again. I've tried all the regular flavors of the This (fruit name) Walks Into a Bar series, and all of them are solid choices. It's all a matter of which flavor your palate would enjoy the most.

Here is the visual rundown of what you can expect if you purchase this product:

Would I buy this again? Yes. Depending on your fruit flavor of preference dictates whether or not you should reach for this. But Trader Joe's This Strawberry Walks Into a Bar (blueberry, mango, and apple) are all good choices in the cereal bar aisle at Trader Joe's.

What a great name for a fruit bar. I love the idea and would buy them if I see them. Though I am trying not to eat prepared foods, I have other eaters in my home.
