The pros:  Trader Joe's This Blueberry Walks Into a Bar is organic, flavorful, some nutritional value, tasty, inexpensive compared to other organic snack bars.

The cons:  Addicting. Easy to eat more than one of these.

The verdict:  For $1.99 these are an awesome snack that isn't full of empty calories. Best of all there are six bars in a box so it's reasonably priced. The best way to describe this bar is a hybrid between a Nutrigrain bar and an extra long Blueberry Newton cookie.

So if you like the taste or texture of either one of those, you'll probably like this. The blueberry filling is just enough to prevent it from being soggy. It adds just enough blueberry flavor. It's a tasty snack bar that is individually wrapped so if you are taking is somewhere it is super convenient.

This line has several flavors to it, so if one flavor is a success (which for me this was), I'm open to trying the other flavors as well. I'd repurchase this. Regardless of whether you are reaching for Strawberry, Fig, Apple, Mango, or seasonal varieties like Pumpkin or Cranberry the outside remains virtually the same, but the filling changes. So it call comes down to personal preference. In our household, this is the hit flavor.

Thanks for sharing this review! My kiddos love "cereal bars" and I've been looking for something a little better for them to snack on other than some of the typical ones. Was even thinking of breaking down and making my own.. But the nutritional values in these are actually decent. I think we will be giving them a try! 🙂

I haven't had the blueberry ones as I'm not a huge blueberry lover but I always buy the apple and fig ones and purchase a bunch of boxes of the cranberry ones when they come out during the holidays.

There must be something special about the apple ones. You are the second person to mention it.
