The Pros: Trader Joe's Uncured Black Forrest Bacon is delicious, has a good balance of salt and sweet, thick cut, and meaty.
The Cons: Why do they sell it as a 12 ounce package? That's a tease. Eating 2 of these makes me a fatty.
The Verdict: This is sweet and salty and once again much like the Trader Joe’s Uncured Apple Smoked Bacon, it took me back to my childhood, but in a different way. It was similar except this had a touch of candied bacon to it when fried in a pan with a hint of pepper. Totally buying it again. So here is what you get for $5.49
