As a new mom, an exhausted human being, and as someone who has pretty much been shut in since March, here is a product that is much welcomed in the Trader Joe's lineup. Albeit, a seasonal product.

The packaging

But in this tube is a really solid scrub. It is quite different from the tube of ultra-moisturizing hand cream. That was all strawberries in scent.

The product

This is all strawberry lemonade.

But when you scrub yourself down you'll probably want a greywater system.

Why?

Because the abrasive material here is more than just the sugar, it's the strawberry seeds.

And they're pretty big those strawberry seeds.

When you look towards your drain you'll see that there was the potential for an entire garden there. If it wasn't already July in New York I might start the experiment to see if this would grow from just the residue in the shower.

Overall

But overall, in terms of exfoliation, this does a great job.

But if you are looking for the addition of moisturizing, then you'll want to skip this and grab the Lavender Salt Scrub. But if you seek aromatherapy of a fruity kind then this is a solid item to buy.

For $5.99 it is a fun item to try but doesn't have the same value that the 20-ounce salt scrub does.

Would I buy this again? Yes, I would buy Trader Joe's Strawberry Lemon Sugar Scrub but I'd rather reach for the lavender one since it is a better value.

Did you try it?  Let me know what you think in the comments section!
