Trader Joe's Uncured Turkey Bacon

Trader Joe's Uncured Turkey Bacon

The pros:  Trader Joe's Uncured Turkey Bacon has very little grease to speak of, nice salty taste with a bit of smoke to it.

The cons:   True bacon lovers will miss out on the real bacon taste.

The verdict:  ...

Trader Joe's Black Forest Cupcake Black Tea

black forest cupcake tea

The pros:  Overall, Trader Joe's Black Forest Cupcake Black Tea is tasty tea. It is as chocolaty as can be expected when only adding water. It's a sweeter tasting tea without any added sugar. Nice packaging and has well made tea bags.

The cons:  Doesn't fully live up to its name "Black Forest." While it is nice and chocolaty, there is no true cherry aspect and the other strongest note after chocolate was licorice.

Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar Caramels

Trader Joes Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar Caramels

The pros:  Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar Caramels have lots of fun textural elements. It's not a scary tasting as it sounds. If you totally embrace the sweet/salty combination you'll probably like these. I could not detect any raw vinegar taste.

The cons:  If you don't care for the sweet/salty dessert option, then please skip this. Expensive considering you are only getting 7 candies in the box....

Trader Joe's Chocolate Chip Brownie and Oat Bar

Trader Joes Chocolate Chip Brownie and Oat Bars

The pros:  Trader Joes Chocolate Chip Brownie and Oat Bar is a tasty, chocolaty, high fiber bar

The cons:  If you like the smooth texture of the "A (Fruit name) Walks Into a Bar" series, then this has the opposite texture. I found there was a strange after taste.

The verdict:  ...

Trader Joe's Roses

Trader Joe's Roses

The pros:  The whole bunch of Trader Joe's Roses lasted just about a week. At almost 10 days they finally hit the compost pile. Really pretty. Nice pick me up.

The cons:  Trader Joe's Roses don't last forever (it would be nice if they could do something about that.)

The verdict:  ...
