The pros: Â Trader Joe's Cheddar Cheese Sticks instantly reminded me of the taste of cheez-its that were twisted around. When you bite into it there were a number of layers giving this far more texture than the familiar cracker. Sourdough flavor takes a backseat to the cheese flavor here.
The cons:  Only 12 come in a package of Trader Joe's Cheddar Cheese Sticks.
The verdict: Â For $2.99 you are getting a tasty snack here. These were awesome served with soup. They would also be great with dip or just on their own. They are solid enough to not break apart even though there are lots of layers here. That does not mean you'll break a tooth on these, they are crisp and solid in a way that chips frequently aren't. The only disappointment is that there are only 12 in a package. So if you are going to serve these at a party, you'll be wishing for a Costco sized bag.

Would I buy this again? Yup. I had this with Trader Joe’s Organic Creamy Tomato Soup in place of crackers. It was tasty and can't wait to figure out what else goes well with this.

I tried these and was sad to discover that I'd bought some that were rancid and stale. It seemed like the butter had gone bad. Additionally, although the initial crunch texture was great, upon chewing them the gradual mouthfeel was waxy and there were pieces balling up in the mouth. It was unpleasant. I also thought there could have been more cheesy flavor. Perhaps the cheeses they chose just were not very flavorful..
