Welcome to another matchup of Trader Joe's reviews with those items featured in the Holiday Guide a.k.a the December Fearless Flyer.
Lots of new items have been landing seemingly daily. And as always there is lots of good stuff to try, but let this be your review guide to the reviewers who have tried these items and have something to say about them.
If you want to see the actual guide then you can check out the Fearless Flyer from Trader Joe's here. Keep in mind they don't archive them from month to month, but I have older months posted on the bottom of this page.
How does this work? When you see an image, it is coming from this blog. If you just see a link where the name of the product is, then that is a link to an outside reviewer. If there is no link, it just means I couldn't find a review to pair with it.
Some stuff just landed this week, so stay tuned!
Hope this helps and may everyone have a wonderful 2019! This is the final Fearless Flyer for 2018.

You need to try the peppermint meringues! SO GOOD! It is very airy and light. The mint flavor is amazing. No chocolate to interrupt the amazing smooth mint flavor.

Hey Alek! I have them and OMG I love them! So much better than the vanilla ones. Great suggestion!

Definitely microwave the gingerbread granola! It enhances it so much. I found eating the pepperment popcorn was best by small bites instead of eating a piece whole. Definitely improved the experience. Like many treats/foods, smaller bites allow the full flavors to emerge. I wish I could get my husband to eat slower, and savor treats/food in his mouth to actually taste them- he is kind of a inhale it all at once guy LOL!

Have you tried the Trader Joe's Hot Chocolate Sticks (Dark Chocolate)? I have tried to attach a picture (or I could email the photo to you). My husband used them in his coffee and sai they were very tasty, but not horribly sweet.

Hi H M! I have them but haven't had a chance to review them yet. Maybe this weekend I'll get to it. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Definitely try the gingerbread granola w/milk warmed in the microwave. Just like the caramel apple granola, it takes it to another level. At first I thought the peppermint popcorn was “okay” but then I ate each piece in smaller bites vs a whole piece in one bite. It allowed the other flavors to come out and play nicely with the peppermint. I find a lot of food and treats are enhanced by eating more slowly, savoring, and allowing each flavor to develop completely vs jamming it in and barely chewing. It makes a difference (for me anyway).

Hey MS! I totally get the breaking things into different sizes thing. And yes, I have the gingerbread granola! I haven't had it microwaved. I've been just noshing on it. Thanks for all the great suggestions!

(Okay, sorry for the duplicate comment.)
Will you be reviewing the triple ginger cake, nuts about rosemary, bark quartet, or nutty praline trio?
